The future of skin reconstruction could be based on today’s inkjet printer technology.
Scientists in the UK are experimenting with devices that will some day lay down skin cells much the same way that out inkjet printers do. Rather than using ink, they print skin cells. And, according to researchers, this may only be the beginning!
I've heard about this before. If I remember correctly, they actually created a
minuscule patch of skin that was capable of surviving a transplant. Maybe they can help
some people recover the brain cells they lost back in the 70s.
